Through storms I’m born
Brought up in bramble and thorn
And with the light of thunder I’ll come
To fight with the anger of the mighty sun
Do not run
There is Hope and Hope is all we have
We may go thirsty or starve
Hit thirty with no love
No matter how dirty, we can still shine above
We must grab life’s sculpture and begin to carve
Lost, we misinterpret the world and our existence
Don’t hesitate to avert this and show persistence
There is Hope, glimmering in the distance
Whether broke and shivering, we are the resistance
Now take note and listen
It takes more than a few words to heal these blisters
To save this world and man
Do what you can and stand your ground
Only with humility will heaven be found
A second life won’t come around
This is no truth or dare
Beware, not to lose sight
Stare death in the eyes and try to realize
The only crippled are those paralyzed by fears
Their life slips away with the years
Lost in trails of tears
Poor lonely dears
Do not be afraid, have faith
It is never too late
Hope is always near
